Isdaan Floating Resto - Fun Park in Laguna

Its gala time again! Today I will introduce to you one of the fascinating restaurants in Laguna. This resto will surely bring you to the other part of Asia and at the same time will serve you delicious Filipino iconic dishes.

Introducing Isdaan, a floating restaurant and fun park owned and operated by The Barrio Fiesta situated in Calauan, Laguna. Yes! It is not just a typical restaurant, but it is also a theme park where people of all ages will surely enjoy this place. If you want to visit this place and you are worrying about its accessibility, good thing to know that it very accessible to the public transportation. How did we get there? From the MRT Cubao station, we waited to those buses who has a signage of Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

Those buses that have a route going to Sta Cruz includes HM Transport. When you get in, just ask the conductor to drop you off at Isdaan. Approximately, two and a half hour will take you due to traffic.

The restaurant is very noticeable because of the huge buddha and  fish that will surely catch your attention upon arriving in the place. From the entrance, you will be welcome by different statues.

Upon going inside, I notice that we are walking on a trail of bamboos. Very cooool!

While searching for a good place to eat, I overheard from the other visitors that they seem to be like in Thailand or someplace in South Asia. How did they came up with that? Let us explore a little bit further :)

(One of the many statues being displayed in Isdaan)

Inside Isdaan, you will have different choices where you want to eat. Just like the image below, you can choose any of these nipa huts. And because there are lots of choices, we find a hard time to choose for a good spot. Hehe!

(Free to choose in any of these nipa huts)

Moreover, you can also choose this place, an open area where you can see a wide view of the restaurant. This is place is good for your family and barkada.

Afterwards, we finally had a place to fill our empty stomach. How to order? At first, I am baffled what is the use of this thing but my friend read that this will help you call the waiter to assist and present you the menu and the order.

(Press the button to turn the lights on and a good looking guy will serve you)

After a couple of minutes, our foods was now served and ready to be consumed.

One thing to remember upon paying your bill is that, they are only on a cash basis. They are not affiliated with any credit card company (based January 2014). So after we bill out, a group of musician sung to us and do not forget to give them tip for their songs.

Finally, it's time to be more astonished with the place. One of the attractions here is a free boat ride. Just don’t forget to give tip to the manong for his goodness.

(A family that stays together, will also picture together)

As we go around, we saw more statues in different sizes and I think this is one of the biggest.

There are also fishes in the pond. I am not sure if you can feed them, but one thing for sure you will enjoy looking at them.

Another remarkable statue here is this big and small statue of gorilla together with a couple of mermaid. It feels like you are being caress by them.

(Hello there!)
Sometimes, at the middle of your happy trip, mother nature will call you to have some hmmmmmm....
Good thing, Isdaan is always ready to give you a clean and comforting toilet facilities to satisfy your hmmmmmmmm...

(Success!)
Lets take a look to the other statues being display inside Isdaan.

(Little statues of Monks)

(Little fountain)

For those who likes Angry birds and other fictional characters, these are statues that is perfectly designed for you.

If you feel bad and feels anger down to the bottom of your heart and you want to release it, Tacsiyapo Wall is a best place for you.

(Tacsiyapo wall and pieces of broken ceramics)

It is a great gimmick of Isdaan where it has a catchy wall to hit. If I am not mistaken, tacsiyapo means "puta**g in* mo!" in short, it is a curse (correct me if I am wrong).  Its objective is to shout "tacsiyapo" before hitting a particular spot using these different materials.

Another surprising thing here in Isdaan is, there is a free show every 6pm. Sadly we did not watch it because of the curfew time of our parents. Hehehe!

So if you are planning to come in Isdaan do not worry about the  fee because there is no entrance fee!!!! Isn't amazing? Isn't surprising?
Isdaan will give you another great place to be with your  family, barkada or even with your love of your life. You will surely be in love with the place.

All in all, it is a nice experience to be in Isdaan.
